Masen came @ a Wonderful time!

I just want to say that I love the timing of my Sweet Masens' arrival. The trees are so green and Beautiful. This is one of my most favorite times of the year, where everything turns green and renews itself from the long winter. It just makes me think that the world is being reborn, and with the birth of Masen I love Spring time even more than before!
A few pictures of the trees on the road to my house.

Masen John Gainer

Okay I know there are a lot of you out there waiting to see pictures of my sweet little boy so I will post them for you now.
Masen John Gainer was born on April 24, 2009 @ 8:33pm. He is 7lbs 9oz and 20" long. He only took one hour to push out but I was in labor for about 15 all together. Not counting the long hours at home. I am so grateful for the epidural though. Without it I don't know if I could have done the whole thing. Either way this precious son of mine is totally worth it! John is so happy to have little Masen here too! He is a Wonderful Daddy already. Between all of us here at our house we only have one complaint: Masen has REALLY BAD GAS!!! The stinkiest of stinky gases I have ever smelt come out of a Baby before. Poor little one though. If he stinks that bad I can only imagine how bad his poor little tummy feels, but he doesn't act like it really does.

Baby Shower

Last Saturday, March 28th, Morgan threw me a baby shower. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed spending time with everyone that came out here to our house even though it is out of the way and the weather was not the best. She also made this absolutely wonderful cake for me, and Baby. She made two different kinds. She made one of them a Dulce De Leche with a Carmel sauce and Carmel frosting. The other upon my request Strawberry, with strawberry jam, frosting and real strawberry's. It was so good! Thank you so much Morgan.

Totally by accident Morgan was able to assemble the cakes together so it says BOY!

I am not the best photogenic person out there so I am going to post the best looking pictures I can.

The first picture is a picture of these really cute Coverall's that John's friend Alise got us. The next is what we call a "Wubbie". It is just two squares of soft fleece fabric sown together with little ribbon's sown around the edges that are looped so you can hook things on it for the baby to play with on the floor. That was hand made by one of the ladies in my ward and a good friend to us. Then we have a picture of the cutest little Pj's. It has little Monkey's on it which just happens to be Mommy's (me) favorite animal. Morgan gave us that along with the next picture of her half finished baby blanket she is making for us. It has MY favorite colors in it and I can't wait to see the finished project. I will be sure to post pictures of it once she has finished it. The last picture is a picture of a Moby Wrap. I had no idea what it was until it was given to me. It basically is a sling to carry the baby in, but is bigger and has more use than the small ones that you see most women using. If you want to see what I mean go to this site: www.mobywrap.com. I received lots of great gifts, from diapers and blankets to clothes that I definitely need. THANK YOU to all that came and enjoyed this wonderful day with me.

Updated Prego Pics. etc.

Here are the last few weeks of me and my "Baby Belly". I did miss a week though.

And here is week 35. I missed my week 34 sorry everyone.

Here is week 36.

This is this weeks, week 37.
I feel a lot bigger than I look in these pictures. LOL

John and I are taking this Lamaze class for free through our hospital out here, and I don't know if it has helped or made me more scared to have this baby. They go through and explain all the pain and show videos of some women in labor and giving birth. Yesterday when we went they went over the Epidural and showed a video of a girl receiving one. I couldn't even watch the video. I almost walked out till it was over because just listening to the video and the other students in the class reactions made it almost unbearable for me.

They also covered c-sections and showed a 3D demonstration of what they do and that really freaked me out because I watched that one. I don't know if I could do that??

The teacher also covered being induced and some of the problems that occur when you are induced, which didn't make me want to have to be induced. They told us that it can be more painful to get induced than it would be if you went into labor naturally. I sure hope I can get into labor naturally, even though if I do get induced I will still take the epidural which hopefully will take of the pain, even though I really don't want that HUGE needle stuck into me. :/

Sorry if I have freaked anyone out with this...
