EMAIL

So my wonderful sister in-law Jennifer sent me this email: I liked it so much that I just had to post it.  I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
FOR THE WHALE IN ALL OF US!

Recently, in a large city in France, a poster featuring a young, thin and tan woman appeared in the window of a gym.

It said, "This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?"

A middle-aged woman, whose physical characteristics did not match those of the woman on the poster, responded publicly to the question posed by the gym.

To Whom It May Concern,
Whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, sea lions, curious humans.) They have an active sex life, get pregnant and have adorable baby whales. They have a wonderful time with dolphins stuffing themselves with shrimp.
They play and swim in the seas, seeing wonderful places like Patagonia, the Bering Sea and the coral reefs ofPolynesia .
Whales are wonderful singers and have even recorded CDs.
They are incredible creatures and virtually have no predators other than humans.
They are loved, protected and admired by almost everyone in the world.
Mermaids don't exist.
If they did exist, they would be lining up outside the offices of Argentinean psychoanalysts due to identity crisis.
Fish or human? They don't have a sex life because they kill men who get close to them, not to mention how could they have sex?
Just look at them ... where is IT?
Therefore, they don't have kids either.
Not to mention, who wants to get close to a girl who smells like a fish store?
The choice is perfectly clear to me:
I want to be a whale.

P..S. We are in an age when media puts into our heads the idea that only skinny people are beautiful, but I prefer to enjoy an ice cream with my kids, a good dinner with a man who makes me shiver, and a piece of chocolate with my friends.  With time, we gain weight because we accumulate so much information and wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our bodies.
So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy.

Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think, ¨Good grief, look how smart am I!¨

P.S. I will Post about Masen and how we are all doing soon. I am cheating and doing this at work... we still don't have any internet.

I love these pictures. Especially the one where he is all wrapped up in the blanket and giving me and Grandma Gainer the biggest SMILE. :D

(this picture makes me think of Jesse)

(total Bigelow face don't you all agree)

These pictures makes me so happy and yet sad. I love that Masen totally 'looks' up to his Grandpa Gainer. He really likes it when Grandpa talks in a really low voice.
They make me sad because it makes me think of how much my parents are missing out on my sweet Little Boy growing up. I wish we didn't live so far away from them.

Sorry they are kindof hard to see.

New Pics.

Masen fell asleep in my arms at church and I just had to get a picture of him. He was just laying there looking as if he was in deep prayer or something. I love it so Much!! Lets me think that what we are teaching him is maybe sticking just a little. :)

This picture says "So Big! So Big!" My little man is growing up on me so fast. He has two teeth, can sit up pretty much all on his own. Rolls and scoots around (time to start baby proofin). He even says MaMa. :) I don't know if he really knows that he is saying it, but that is what he says all the time. Yet there are moments when I know he knows he is talking to me or John when he says it. (does that make any sense?) My 'Punkin' also loves to eat his baby food and gets really mad when we don't share our food with him. Already wantin to eat BIG boy food.

Updates

Well it has been such a long time since I updated on the wonderful things that my little 'punkin' is doing. Over Labor Day weekend Masen decided he wanted to roll from his tummy to his back. We were in church and he was just laying on the floor, I looked down at him and then looked back up towards the speaker and as soon as I looked up he rolled over so I didn't see him roll over the first time he did. Later that day while were at home (at the time we were living with Grandma and Grandpa) Masen was playing with Auntie Caty and Grandma and he rolled over again, and I missed it again. Grrr.... So John grabbed Grandma Gainers camera and got a video of him rolling over. :) Just go here and it's the last video.

Three weeks ago Masen got his first tooth. :) Yay! He now has two teeth. We tried to get a picture of his teeth but as you know... Not a good camera.

About a week ago Masen discovered the MIRROR. John put him infront of one of our bathroom mirrors and he just laughed and talked to himself. It was so cute I had to get a video of him. It is not the greatest video of this but it will do.

I think thats all folks! Till next time ya'll.

Our New Place..

Okay Here are the pictures you have all been waiting for....
They are in no particular order either and some are hard to see since I still don't have a new camera or flash. We don't have internet yet either so that is why it has taken so long to get these up for everyone....

Gonna ride a Motor Bike Someday

Here is my sweet little 'Punkin' being the Future Motorcycle Rider. He is ALWAYS grabbing onto his little toy like this. I just love it! Every time I see him like this it makes me think of my Dad and how much he loves to ride his bike, and how I can't wait for that day when my Baby is old enough to go on his very first BIKE ride with Grandpa Evans. :) If you don't know what I mean by my Dad loving to ride his bike you need to check out this link: http://nellieandmo.blogspot.com/2009/08/bad-to-bone.html .

A Few Videos

In this Video Masen is talking to his little toys that are on his Car seat. It was so cute I had to get a video of it. Sorry I was a by myself so it didn't turn out the best. Yes I was bad and used my camera while driving. PLEASE forgive me everyone!

Masen LOVES baths! He just kicks and splashes.

He was enjoying this so much more until Daddy pulled the camera out and then he decided it was time to be done... he is such a stinker. He will not PREFORM!

Okay Picture Time FINALLY!

Oh so by the way we had our four month check up on Thursday the 27th and Masen (my little Punkin) is now a whopping 14lbs, 15oz - so close to 15lbs OMGOSH- and he is 25 1/4" long. My Baby is growing up SO... Fast on me. I can hardly believe it. It is almost impossible for me to remember him when he was brand new. It is so sad to me that I can hardly remember only four months ago.

Masen Loves to talk now. He really enjoys talking to himself more than to anyone else, and when he talks he talks LOUD! He has such a sweet personality. He giggles and plays and just completely enjoys your CONSTANT attention. He wont roll over yet, but he will STAND up now. :) Most days he prefers his Daddy vs. Mommy which makes me sad, but I still LOVE him to PIECES! He is also very smart and Knows when it is time for us to go and pick up Daddy from work. He cries and cries till we get there and then if Daddy doesn't say "HI" to him once he is in the car he gets REALLY mad! It is so funny. Masen also has found a great fondness for the Cd "HYMNS" by: Voice Male, an all male a Capella group. Whenever he is to grumpy in the car we just switch the radio to that Cd and he quiets right up and falls asleep. :D PROUD MOMENTS!

I can't remember if I told you already or not but John is no longer working for Nelson, my brother-in-law. He is now working for Miracle Men, which is a landscaping business. He is seeming to like it a lot. Especially since he can be home at night to see his little boy grow up. It doesn't pay as much as working for Nelson, but it is defiantly better than nothing at all! I am still in my job working for Wesley Sanders. He is a Great boss! I have also received a raise and more hours. :) John should hopefully receive a raise by the end of the month too!

Now for the best new yet!!! WE ARE GETTING OUR OWN PLACE! :D Yay for us. It has been a long time coming and we are so excited to be getting into this place. It is a nice townhouse in a good part of Springfield, MO. It is a two storey townhouse with an unfinished basement. It has a nice little fenced yard in the back with two designated parking spots. All we have to pay is electric and it also comes with a fire place. I will post some pictures once we get all moved in and etc. It is around 1100 SQ Ft. for $505 a month. We think and feel that it is a pretty good steal. Most other townhouse go for around $450 to $495 without and unfinished basement.

Okay these are not in any Particular order they are just on here. Since I am having issues with my camera so of the pictures are a little dark and some are blurry. Sorry to all! I hope you enjoy these.

For some odd reason this is Masen's typical position when he is laying on his back. He just has to have his arm up around the back of his head or playing with his ear. I LOVE IT!

Here is one of his SMILE's that I have been promising to get everyone for FOREVER.

TOO PRECIOUS FOR WORDS!

Getting ready to tell Mommy one of his stories.

ANOTHER WONDERFUL SMILE!!! :D

He LOVES to blow BUbbLEs!

Such a long time it seems...

Well I feel like it has been forever since I have posted anything. I don't have any pictures right now to post because the flash on my camera went out and I haven't been able to take many pictures because they just don't turn out... :(
Since I have posted last John, Masen and I have moved in with Johns' Parents. We have been there for a week and a half now. It is a big change for me. I am just so ready to have our own place and be independent from family. Not that I don't love my family and am not gratefull everyday and every second of the day for all the help that they are willing to give, it is just that IT IS TIME!!! I need the security in myself to know that WE as a couple can make it on our own without all the help from family. I think my biggest problem is that I don't feel like we as a family really have our own life, we are just a part of someone elses. I hope this is making some sense... I am just getting so stressed out becasue of it all.
I am also very home sick. I miss my family! I don't want to be so far away from them anymore, but I just cant bring myself to take John away from his family. I am TORN! What to do??
Sorry if this boggs anyone down or if I offend anyone. It is not my intentions. I just needed to get some of this off my shoulders.

The Hogle Zoo & Heber Kreeper

We all went to the Hogle Zoo on Friday the 17th and had a LOT of fun despite the HEAT. The best part of it all was the 'Singing Monkey'. I was disappointed though, they didn't have any LIONS, or HIPPOPOTAMUSES. :(

On Saturday the 18th I went with Masen on the Heber Kreeper with John's brother Morgan and family, and also with Caty & Gabe. It was a lot of fun, and the scenery was BEAUTIFUL. I still couldn't get Gracie to give me a hug or anything. Eventually though, eventually.

Meeting Family / "Auntie" Katie

On Sunday the 12th, Masen and I went down to Salt Lake City to visit with some of John's family that lives here: Caty & Gabe, Morgan & Alison, and their two little ones Gracie (3) & Jack (2). Masen had already met Caty but not anyone else, so it was nice for them to all get to meet him. I also hadn't met Alison or the kids before either. I was so happy to finally meet them, especially since Caty talks so Highly of them all. We had a good time playing and visiting. Uncle Morgan held Masen most of the time. I think Masen MISSES his DADDY so whenever any guy holds him he is just so content. (Male bonding)

I was lucky to get a picture of Gabe with Masen. He doesn't like to hold babies.

SUCH CUTE POSERS

Gracie only held Masen long enough for me to get this picture and then she wouldn't hold him again.

Can you guess what this is a picture of? ....... 1.... 2.... 3...... Jack's fingers. he loved to take pictures, but couldn't figure out how to without his fingers in the way of the lens.

I just had to get a picture of Jack walking on his tippy toes. Ryland does the same thing... its so weird.

I tried really hard to get a picture of Jack and me, and also of Gracie and me but I was only able to get one of Jack and me because I bribed him with the Camera. Gracie didn't really want anything to do with me. STRANGER!

Gracie Avoding me at ALL costs.

On Monday the 13th I had a dentist appointment so Katie Hunter, My BEST Friend - Masen's "Auntie" (she really isn't his aunt, but you know how it goes right?), met us at the office and she watched him while I had my appointment. We had lots of fun and really enjoyed playing catch up. We went out to lunch at the OLIVE GARDEN, and then went to her place to play a game that I had bought her for her birthday: Peanut Butter and Jelly Lunchbox. I mostly bought it because to each other we are PB&J. She is "The Jelly that makes the world go round," and I am the "Peanut Butter that makes it ALL Good."
Katie working hard on Masen's baby Presant. (Ill post a picture when I get it.)

SHE LOVES HIM!!! She could hardly let him go...
