FREAKY SPIDER
OH Wow this spider almost got the better of me and Morgan one night. It was huge, it's legs were at least about two inches long. It took Morgan a half hour to kill. I was to chicken to even get close enough, even after it was dead. We later found out that it was a wood spider, but that still didn't help the fact that We (she) had to kill it. That is just one bad thing about the boys working out of town, we have to take care of the scary things ourselves. :(

Hodges, Petty Family Reunion
Over the weekend, of the 12th through the 15th, our family made a trip out to Post, TX for John's Mom's Family Reunion. It was great fun, and I really enjoyed meeting everyone in the family and especially finally being able to meet one more of John's siblings, Michael. Everyone there was just Absolutely in love with Masen. They fought over who got to hold him next for two days straight. It was nice to not have to worry about Masen all the time because I knew he was being taken great care of. On the 10 1/2 hour drive out there, Masen was just a doll. He hardly fussed at all, mostly only fussed when he was hungry. Everyone at the reunion couldn't believe how good of a baby he is. They never heard him cry and were totally surprised. We are just completely blessed to have such a wonderful little boy! :) On our way back he had a little bit of a harder time just because he was SO use to being held that sitting in his car seat and driving for 10 1/2 hours was not ideal to him. Yet all in all I am so happy that he is such a good traveler.

Masen already doesn't like Santa, but he does okay with the Reindeer.

Daddy had to have his turn with Masen and ended up falling asleep with him. So cute I love it when I see them asleep together.

Just chillin on a beautiful quilt at Grandma Hodges' house. Daddy Poking his head out from underneath the table.

Trying to figure out who Aunt Barbara is. (Michael's wife.)

The horse at the Market in Wichita Falls, TX.

John with his brother Michael.

Playing Sequence at Grandmas house. It was great fun, Thank you Mom and Dad for playing. :)

He has found his Finger!
Latley Masen has decided that he would rather suck on his left pointer finger than on his binki. It is a little frustrating to me because I can remeber how hard of a time my parents had trying to get me to stop sucking on my thumb. But I get what goes around comes around right... haha.
Who Else?... My 'Punkin'
Again I can't believe how fast he is growing up. Masen is now 6 weeks old. He sits up on his own so well you almost don't have to hold him. He is so funny. If you have him laying down on his back for to long he will just get fussy until you sit him up and then he is totally content. He loves sitting up! He also loves to be on his tummy! I know the doctors tell you not to let them sleep on their tummies, but I can't get him to sleep on his back. When I let him cry long enough and he gets tired enough he will but he just wakes up every 5 mins.

Thats the best smile I can get so far. Still trying trying to get a good one.

No Pictures Please... well okay then.

He is slowly starting to interact with me too. Every now and then he will tell me great stories but I am yet to get one on video for you all to hear one. I always go and get my camera and then he stops and wont start again. :( I will get one I promise.
