EMAIL

So my wonderful sister in-law Jennifer sent me this email: I liked it so much that I just had to post it.  I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
FOR THE WHALE IN ALL OF US!

Recently, in a large city in France, a poster featuring a young, thin and tan woman appeared in the window of a gym.

It said, "This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?"

A middle-aged woman, whose physical characteristics did not match those of the woman on the poster, responded publicly to the question posed by the gym.

To Whom It May Concern,
Whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, sea lions, curious humans.) They have an active sex life, get pregnant and have adorable baby whales. They have a wonderful time with dolphins stuffing themselves with shrimp.
They play and swim in the seas, seeing wonderful places like Patagonia, the Bering Sea and the coral reefs ofPolynesia .
Whales are wonderful singers and have even recorded CDs.
They are incredible creatures and virtually have no predators other than humans.
They are loved, protected and admired by almost everyone in the world.
Mermaids don't exist.
If they did exist, they would be lining up outside the offices of Argentinean psychoanalysts due to identity crisis.
Fish or human? They don't have a sex life because they kill men who get close to them, not to mention how could they have sex?
Just look at them ... where is IT?
Therefore, they don't have kids either.
Not to mention, who wants to get close to a girl who smells like a fish store?
The choice is perfectly clear to me:
I want to be a whale.

P..S. We are in an age when media puts into our heads the idea that only skinny people are beautiful, but I prefer to enjoy an ice cream with my kids, a good dinner with a man who makes me shiver, and a piece of chocolate with my friends.  With time, we gain weight because we accumulate so much information and wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our bodies.
So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy.

Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think, ¨Good grief, look how smart am I!¨

P.S. I will Post about Masen and how we are all doing soon. I am cheating and doing this at work... we still don't have any internet.

I love these pictures. Especially the one where he is all wrapped up in the blanket and giving me and Grandma Gainer the biggest SMILE. :D

(this picture makes me think of Jesse)

(total Bigelow face don't you all agree)

These pictures makes me so happy and yet sad. I love that Masen totally 'looks' up to his Grandpa Gainer. He really likes it when Grandpa talks in a really low voice.
They make me sad because it makes me think of how much my parents are missing out on my sweet Little Boy growing up. I wish we didn't live so far away from them.

Sorry they are kindof hard to see.

New Pics.

Masen fell asleep in my arms at church and I just had to get a picture of him. He was just laying there looking as if he was in deep prayer or something. I love it so Much!! Lets me think that what we are teaching him is maybe sticking just a little. :)

This picture says "So Big! So Big!" My little man is growing up on me so fast. He has two teeth, can sit up pretty much all on his own. Rolls and scoots around (time to start baby proofin). He even says MaMa. :) I don't know if he really knows that he is saying it, but that is what he says all the time. Yet there are moments when I know he knows he is talking to me or John when he says it. (does that make any sense?) My 'Punkin' also loves to eat his baby food and gets really mad when we don't share our food with him. Already wantin to eat BIG boy food.

Updates

Well it has been such a long time since I updated on the wonderful things that my little 'punkin' is doing. Over Labor Day weekend Masen decided he wanted to roll from his tummy to his back. We were in church and he was just laying on the floor, I looked down at him and then looked back up towards the speaker and as soon as I looked up he rolled over so I didn't see him roll over the first time he did. Later that day while were at home (at the time we were living with Grandma and Grandpa) Masen was playing with Auntie Caty and Grandma and he rolled over again, and I missed it again. Grrr.... So John grabbed Grandma Gainers camera and got a video of him rolling over. :) Just go here and it's the last video.

Three weeks ago Masen got his first tooth. :) Yay! He now has two teeth. We tried to get a picture of his teeth but as you know... Not a good camera.

About a week ago Masen discovered the MIRROR. John put him infront of one of our bathroom mirrors and he just laughed and talked to himself. It was so cute I had to get a video of him. It is not the greatest video of this but it will do.

I think thats all folks! Till next time ya'll.

Our New Place..

Okay Here are the pictures you have all been waiting for....
They are in no particular order either and some are hard to see since I still don't have a new camera or flash. We don't have internet yet either so that is why it has taken so long to get these up for everyone....
