Long OVERDUE Update

This post is Pretty RANDOM:
Wow, so it has been a long time since I have updated, but that is mainly because I had a really slow computer while living at my in laws and then when we moved into our new place (details to come), we didn't have internet or a computer hooked up.  Now that we have both I will try my very hardest to update a bit more often.
My little ones are growing like weeds and making me very sad because of it, but they also light up each day with new things they do.

(Sorry the Picture is sideways I forgot to rotate before I uploaded it and I cant change it unless I delete and re upload - there are others like this later in the post.)
Masen talks NON STOP, unless he is asleep there is Never a Quiet moment in our house.  He is so good with Lyndee too.  There are times we have to keep them separated because Masen thinks it is a good idea to sit or stand or lay on her, but he is slowly learning that he cant do that.  Masen loves to tell you he "Loves you too" and that "Your my Best Friend."  He always refers to himself as Masen John Gainer and Lyndee as Lyndee Jo.  He is VERY good correcting us when we say something we shouldn't or something he thinks is not good to say, but his correction for EVERYTHING is "No-insert name- it's 'Oh My', not...., or Say 'Oh My' - insert name-.  Masen Repeats pretty much everything you say or anything new that he hasn't heard before. He loves to explain what he is doing while he is doing it even if it is getting him into trouble.  We started potty training him once we got settled into our new place and he did Great and is now fully trained.  I was really worried it was going to take forever and be a big trial, but it was so easy. Thank Goodness. :) I can't believe that my Masen John is now almost 3.  He acts like such a big kid now and I don't want that to happen yet. :( Why do they have to grow up so fast?!

Lyndee is now 4 months old and changing and growing everyday.  She can already roll over from her tummy to her back, and gets Really upset when she does, especially when she is sleeping.  Boy does that girl LOVE her Tummy time.  She can throw a fit like you would not believe, and is very persistent.  Lyndee is already trying to crawl.  She bunches up her legs and scoots herself around.  She doesn't move a lot or very fast, it will be happening soon, and I am to say not the LEAST bit excited. (Masen didn't start to crawl and get around till almost six months or more.  He didn't even roll over for the first time till six months.)  She turns herself in circles all day, and then gets mad because she cant find her toys.  She LOVES her Daddy, but will not look him straight in the face.  We can not seem to figure out why.  We here coo's, and aaa's all day from her. She laughs and giggles at Mommy, but Daddy can only get grunts out of her.  Lyndee is ALWAYS staring down Masen.  She has a great love for him! :) Since we moved into our new place Lyndee is now sleeping in the crib in the same room as Masen and doing very well.  Masen gets mad if we put him down for bed and then take her out of the room.  He always says 'Lyndee sleeps in my room!', and we have to reassure him that we are only feeding her and then we will bring her back in. Lyndee still has a head full of hair, but it no longer sticks STRAIGHT up in the air, (like in the Pic above) but it does still have a mind of its own and she has inherited Johns callic.  She still has blue eyes, but they look more like my moms color blue, than the Gainer blue John and Masen have.  The last time we took her to the doctor, (about 2 weeks ago) she weighed in at 11lbs 10oz.  Everyone always tell me she is so tiny.  We had to take her to the doctor because she had been EXTREMELY colicky, and come to find out she has acid re-flux. My poor girl. :(  She is doing much better now that she is on medication for it.

Taken today January 31st, 2012.

Watching a show on the computer together.  :D Just way too CUTE!!

Watching TV together.  Lyndee loves to be with Masen, but he only likes to hold her for about 5 seconds and then he tends to push her over and say 'Here I'm DONE!' Silly boy!

Christmas Eve and Christmas morning was spent at Morgan and Nelsons.  It was great fun to have Masen with the boys and to just see the excitement they each brought to each other and to everyone.  To this day Masen still talks about Christmas and is always wanting Santa to come and bring him more presents.  I hope next year he will understand a little more about Christmas being about Christ and not Santa, but it was still a GREAT one.  Santa brought Masen a Thomas the Tank engine toy and he carries that thing EVERYWHERE, he even has to sleep with it under his pillow.  Masen and Lyndee got totally spoiled.  John and I got a pretty good present from each other as well, Our new place.  We moved in on the 23rd, and then went to Morgans the next day for Christmas eve. After presents and breakfast and Sacrament meeting with Morgan and family we headed out to Johns parents to open presents and have Christmas dinner with his family.  Masen just couldn't get enough of opening presents and handing them out to everyone.  He would open one and then turn to Grandma (who was handing the presents out) and say another one Please. (He has GREAT manners) I don't think he spent more than 2 minutes top with a gift before he had to have another one, that is if it could hold his attention that long.

For new years we also spent it at Morgan and Nelsons as well.  They had a few of their family friends over and we had a Great time.  We talked and played games and Ate till our Hearts Content. All the kids, except Lyndee and the other baby there, made it till the new year.  We had a few of the adults pass out though, John being one of them.

little SISTER,  MOST AWESOME BIG BROTHER

Here are some pictures from back in December when I just wanted to play with the camera and take some pictures of the Kiddos.

Their favorite thing to do - Look at each other.

Since she couldn't jump, and still cant yet, we used this as a swing when she wouldn't go in her regular one, and this was the result.

On Sunday October 30th, 2011, we had Lyndee blessed.  She got to wear my Baby Blessing dress and use the same blanket I did from 25 years ago.  It was a beautiful blessing and She was just GORGEOUS in the dress.

Besides a picture my Sister in law took at the Hospital this was the first Family photo we got.

HALLOWEEN 2011
Masen the Dinosaur, and Lyndee with Auntie Morgan, in her 'My first Halloween' onsie that Uncle Curt and Aunt Julie got her.

I believe this picture is of Lyndee when she was just over a month old, maybe closer to two months.

So, about our new HOME:  it is a Duplex that is SUPER close to Johns work, like 5 mins away.  It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath.  We have a small patio on the back part of the house.  The living room is a lot more roomy than in our old place.  The Kitchen and Dinning area are about the same size.  Our neighbors are great.  The ones that live right next to us are members, as well as the couple that live across from us.  The other family isn't, but they are still very nice people, and very easy to get along with even though we haven't talked all that much.  I will get pictures of our place and post them for you all to see soon.

We are working out a time to come out to Utah this summer to visit with family and friends, so I will be sure to let you all know when that will be.  I hope you were not to bored reading this.  I will try to make it more exciting next time. Until then, The Gainers.
