He has found his Finger!

Latley Masen has decided that he would rather suck on his left pointer finger than on his binki. It is a little frustrating to me because I can remeber how hard of a time my parents had trying to get me to stop sucking on my thumb. But I get what goes around comes around right... haha.

Who Else?... My 'Punkin'

Again I can't believe how fast he is growing up. Masen is now 6 weeks old. He sits up on his own so well you almost don't have to hold him. He is so funny. If you have him laying down on his back for to long he will just get fussy until you sit him up and then he is totally content. He loves sitting up! He also loves to be on his tummy! I know the doctors tell you not to let them sleep on their tummies, but I can't get him to sleep on his back. When I let him cry long enough and he gets tired enough he will but he just wakes up every 5 mins.

No Pictures Please... well okay then.

Thats the best smile I can get so far. Still trying trying to get a good one.

He is slowly starting to interact with me too. Every now and then he will tell me great stories but I am yet to get one on video for you all to hear one. I always go and get my camera and then he stops and wont start again. :( I will get one I promise.

While I was getting Masen dressed the other day I thought this looked just way to cute to not take a picture of it... he looks like he is wearing a turban.

The most Amazing Feeling

Okay lets start out by saying my little one is a total 'Mamma's Boy' right now. He will still go to other people but he doesn't like it at first. Yesterday after a long day of shopping we lost Masen's Binky and he would not take any of the other ones that we had. He defiantly prefers the Gum Drop Pacifier. Thankful a Sister in our ward who lives close by happened to have an extra unopened one that I could buy from her. So I quickly ran over to her house and got the Binky so Masen would be able to sleep that night. When I got home he was half asleep on Auntie Morgan's lap, and when he heard my voice he started to get fussy. We gave him his new Binky but that was not what he wanted. I let Morgan still hold him for a bit, but he just would stop fussing (he wasn't crying, just fussy... he doesn't cry much.). So I went over and rubbed his little head and told him that he was okay but that just made it worse, so I took him from Morgan and almost immediately he stopped fussing and was perfectly calm and content just sitting there in my arms. I felt so loved and so happy that I just wanted to cry. (I didn't actually cry till I told the story to John) Masen knew exactly who I was and, it was just so amazing to know that I am that needed and that just by hearing my voice or by feeling my touch he knows that everything is okay. I don't know how to really describe what I felt or how I still feel but to say that Motherhood is such an amazing remarkable thing, and anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to experience such a thing is missing out and I hope that they get the opportunity to do such soon.

ME

Yesterday I wanted to make myself up so I did... I haven't done it in a long time, I almost forgot what it felt like to look pretty. Not that I am calling myself ugly, I guess I should say what it feels like to make an effort.
