Okay I am stuck at a cross roads with an Idea for saving us money. I want your opinion please.
Do I keep my cell phone and just block the internet and texting, which will save about oh $20 bucks a month, or do I get rid of it all together and not worry about having it?
If I got rid of my phone I would then want to get internet, which if I go through AT&T, it would cost me $40 bucks a month which is Cheaper than what my cell phone costs me a month. Then I would just get a phone number through SKYPE. My friends have one through them and it is basically like a land line, but only cost like $3 a month. So I would be at $43 a month instead of around $55 - $70.
I bet if I looked around I could possibly find internet cheaper... any ideas? Also if I keep my phone and just get a Pay as You GO plan then the internet would only be $35/month, but I don't know if that will save money or not??
John's phone is with his parents so we don't pay for his.
HELP ME PLEASE!!!

I say get rid of your cell phone first. See how that effects your bills each month and then look into internet services. In my opinion, one step at a time would be the best strategy.
Besides, you and John can share his phone whenever one of you needs it more.
If you got internet, you could also use magic Jack for phone service. It's $20.00 a year. We have one. I'm probably going to ditch my cell too.
you could go without a cell phone AND internet, and just use the library for internet use.
Good point. When I moved out of Mom and Dad's I just used the library for internet for at least a year. Worked well, and it's free.
k, so this is the reply to your comment on my cloth post. I LOVE them! (As if that wasn't obvious, lol) Depending on how many diapers Masen goes through, you could start cloth diapering for around $65. I can get you a really good deal. Message me on FB or txt me and I'll give you the details. There's also a company that lets you try cloth for $21 for 28 days... I never did it, but my sis in law did. $21 is still cheaper than what I paid for a month of diaposables
